We have kept these terms clear, fair, and in plain language. They exist to protect both you and us, and to make sure every session happens with clarity and trust. If anything is unclear, please write to us at enquiry@bodhicare.space before booking — we are happy to explain.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a session, purchasing a service, using this website, submitting a form, making a payment, attending a session, or communicating with Bodhicare, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not proceed with booking or payment.

2. About Bodhicare

Bodhicare is operated by Grey Bodhi Collective Pvt. Ltd. and provides online mental health and emotional wellbeing services through qualified professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, counsellors, and wellbeing consultants.

We offer two types of services:

Clinical services — such as psychiatry consultation, clinical psychology, and therapy.

Non-clinical wellbeing services — such as emotional clarity sessions, stress support, relationship guidance, career confusion support, habit-building, and general wellbeing conversations.

Non-clinical services are not medical treatment, psychiatric diagnosis, or emergency support.

3. Not an Emergency or Crisis Service

Important: Bodhicare is not an emergency service. We do not provide crisis intervention, suicide prevention response, or urgent psychiatric care.

If you are in immediate danger, experiencing suicidal thoughts, severe distress, violence, abuse, overdose, or any urgent crisis — please contact your local emergency services or visit the nearest hospital immediately. Do not wait for a Bodhicare session.

4. No Guaranteed Outcome

Bodhicare and its professionals do not guarantee any specific result, diagnosis, recovery, or improvement. Progress depends on many factors including the nature of the concern, client participation, accuracy of information shared, and continuity of care.

5. Professional Responsibility

Sessions may be conducted by independent professionals associated with Bodhicare. Each professional is responsible for their own clinical judgement, advice, prescriptions, and recommendations within their scope of practice.

Bodhicare acts as a platform and coordination provider. We make reasonable efforts to verify credentials and maintain service quality, but we are not liable for individual professional judgements or decisions, except where liability cannot be excluded by applicable law.

6. Booking & Consultant Assignment

A booking is confirmed only after successful payment and receipt of required information. After confirmation, we will assign a suitable professional based on your service type, concern, availability, and language preference.

Preferences such as language or consultant gender will be considered but cannot be guaranteed due to availability. The consultant name and session link will be shared by email within the stated timeframe after successful payment.

7. How Sessions Work

All sessions are conducted online via Google Meet (or another video platform, if specified). You are responsible for having:

A stable internet connection

A working device with camera and microphone

A quiet, private space

The correct email address and phone number on file

Bodhicare is not responsible for disruption caused by your internet, device, or environment.

8. Payments

All payments must be completed before the session unless Bodhicare has specifically agreed otherwise in writing. Prices shown at checkout at the time of booking apply to that booking. Prices may be updated from time to time.

9. Cancellation, Reschedule & Missed Sessions

All cancellation, rescheduling, and refund rules are governed by our Refund Policy, available on our website at bodhicare.space. By booking, you agree to the Refund Policy.

Key points for quick reference:

Client late arrival: The consultant will wait up to 15 minutes. If you do not join within this time, the session may be marked as missed and no refund or free reschedule will be provided.

Consultant delay: If the consultant is delayed by more than 15 minutes, you may request a free reschedule or a full refund.

Technical issues from Bodhicare’s side: A reschedule or refund will be offered as per the Refund Policy.

Technical issues from your side: A reschedule may be offered at Bodhicare’s discretion but is not guaranteed.

10. Client Information

You must provide accurate information when booking, including your name, age, contact details, location, and the nature of your concern. Inaccurate or incomplete information may affect the quality and suitability of your session.

11. Minors

Clients below 18 years of age may book or attend sessions only with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian. Bodhicare may request guardian details and reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or refuse a session if consent is unclear or missing.

12. Confidentiality

Bodhicare and its professionals are committed to maintaining client confidentiality. However, confidentiality may be limited where required by law, court order, professional duty, or where there is a genuine risk of harm to yourself or others.

Please avoid sharing sensitive personal details over WhatsApp or general communication channels. Sensitive information is best shared during the session itself or through secure channels where available.

13. Prescriptions & Clinical Documents

Prescriptions, session notes, or clinical documents may only be issued by qualified professionals within their legal and professional scope. Bodhicare does not guarantee that every session will result in a prescription, diagnosis, certificate, or written recommendation.

14. Communication Preferences

By booking a session, you agree to receive booking-related communication via email, SMS, phone, and WhatsApp. WhatsApp communication is used only for scheduling, reminders, and administrative coordination. It is not a channel for emergency support or clinical advice.

15. Right to Refuse or Cancel

Bodhicare reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or reschedule a booking if:

The concern appears to require emergency or in-person care

The service selected is unsuitable for the client’s needs

False, incomplete, or misleading information has been provided

Guardian consent is missing for a minor

The client behaves abusively or inappropriately

A professional is unavailable

A legal, safety, or ethical concern arises

In such cases, refund eligibility will be determined as per the Refund Policy.

16. Digital Products, Courses & Webinars

Bodhicare may offer courses, webinars, workshops, downloadable resources, recorded content, and other digital products. Unless clearly stated otherwise at the time of purchase, digital products are non-refundable once purchased.

17. Website Content

Content on Bodhicare’s website, social media, blogs, emails, and other materials is for general awareness and information only. It is not a substitute for professional diagnosis, therapy, medical advice, or emergency care.

Any self-assessment tools or quizzes on our website are for personal reflection only and are not diagnostic instruments.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Grey Bodhi Collective Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, emotional, financial, or personal losses arising from use of this website, bookings, sessions, delays, cancellations, technical failures, or reliance on general content.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

19. Changes to These Terms

Bodhicare may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on the website and will apply from the date of posting. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

20. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, including the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court, where applicable.
